About Palm Beach Arms Collectors
The Palm Beach Historical Arms Collectors Association began in 1972 when six like-minded collectors started meeting in a local garage.
Over the years, the organization grew to over two hundred members and began having extremely popular gun shows. Our first gun show was at the Colonnades Hotel. Succeding gun shows have been at the Knights of Columbus Hall, the Palm Beach Auditorium, and the National Guard Armory. We accommodated as many as 350 tables, and became “the show to attend” on the east coast of Florida.
Since then, collector tastes have changed, and so have our members. Our collectors revere and collect firearms starting from the Revolutionary and the Civil Wars, many of the firearms from those periods include original Kentucky Rifles; but we have many more who treasure more contemporary pieces starting from World War II up to the present time.
Currently, our gun shows accomodate approximately 80 tables, and reflect the quality, variety, and taste of our members. This includes handguns, rifles, shotguns, flare guns, edged weapons, militaria and accessories from many countries and periods.
PBAC hosts an information and display table at every gun show at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach.
